Price movement is complicated because there are so many time frames. Different people look at different time frames to take their actions so they act differently.
To have a good prediction, we have to look at many different time frame charts.
Many indicators (if we don't say almost all) don't provide high probability prediction.
But I have noticed that chart patterns do provide high probability prediction.
The matter is regconizing the chart patterns is complicated, especially if we just look into only one time frame.

I have severall styles but right now the main points that I base on for all my current accounts are these:

1/ No stop loss.
2/ Use oposite trades with same pair in another account or use synthetic pairs (in the same account) to hedge.
3/ Take big profit if it come fast.
4/ Watch multiple timeframes to get the whole picture.
5/ Using severall same indicators to all timeframes.

Here are some thoughts...
As we can see in the small poll in Oanda forum: What return do you aim for?, most of traders expect to have a return higher than 100% a year. So let say how we can achieve that day by day month by month.
If we can achieve 6% per month consistently, we will have a return of 101% a year as in the below break down (using excel):

Hi All,
This is a new project. I am trying to find as many parameters as possible that bar charts can have. I believe FX price charts are very complicated so it is very difficult to predict the price action by purely look at it. We need to measure it in many different ways and compare them with the price itself to see the relationship that in turn will help us to predict the price action.
One example is Deviation, Dev in short, I notice that after it is very small for a while if it start becoming bigger that is a good signal to tell us that price is going to move big.
